Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our trial team and assist in all phases of the litigation process, with specific focus on medical malpractice matters. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized and collaborative. You will be joining an experienced team and will be encouraged immediately to make contributions.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and tracking of subpoenas
- Review and summarizing of medical records
- Prepares general correspondence, memoranda and complex legal documents
- Calendar docket entries, attorney appointments
- Electronic court filings in Federal Court, Philadelphia and surrounding counties
- Pre-trial and discovery process
- Trial prep and post-trial duties
- Retain and interface with potential experts
- Ability to handle pressure, interruptions and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities and deadlines;
- Client interfacing
- Familiar with PA court procedures, cite checking and research
Job Requirements/Skills
- Stable work history
- Medical malpractice or similar experience preferred but not required
- Detail oriented
- Diligent and hardworking

- Experience working with computerized case management system
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
